Today was a great day! I got to see my mom and she was feeling great! She might even be able to get out of the clinic tomorrow. This is great news being that I was just up to see her this past Friday and she was told that it would be two weeks before that would happen. She is accepting the bone marrow just fine but she is having some reaction to the anti rejection drugs and she had a slight fungal infection. She is looking good now though and is ready to get out of there. She was so happy to see the girls. I walked her down the hall to where the girls were waiting for her and she was tearing up the whole way down to them. She told me she couldn't wait to see their faces. She also told me that she never wants to feel that way again. These past couple weeks for her have been extremely frightening. Between her hallucinations and her fluid around her heart she wasn't sure she would ever see the day of getting out of there. She told me straight out that she thought she was going the night she couldn't breathe. I am so glad that she had those boxing gloves on. She is here and not going to let anything get in her way!
We also got to see my newest niece Liv Ellen ! I have included pictures of her also. We went over to have dinner with them before heading back to Toledo. Then we came home because the girls start school tomorrow.
Thankyou God for giving my mom the strength to beat this and giving me the faith that she will beat this. Through you anything is possible!

Jesus take the wheel

What a hambone! Alexa has trained her well. Alexa actually took this video of her on the way home from Sandusky on Sunday. She gets mad at her at one point in the video for singing with her and she tells Alexa to Shut up.
The girls had a blast at the Erie county fair on Saturday night! Alexa wants to help out next year.

We went to the Toby Keith Concert on Friday night and it was INCREDIBLE! I love Toby! He played at Blossom Music Center.

We stayed over night then went to see my mom at the Clinic before we headed back to Sandusky to pick the kids up.

We had a nice trip to Pittsburgh PA! Actually to all of you that know the area we were actually in Cranberry, PA. We just went for a nice getaway. Mike had to work there on Monday so we enjoyed ourselves by the pool and visited a nearby mall.

Alayna even lost a tooth while we were there! She got 5$ from the tooth ferry. She spent it at Dave and Busters! (I do have my flicker badge at the bottom of this page if anyone ever wants to look at lots of pictures) Posted by Picasa

She has been released from the hospital today and is staying in a facility that will nurse her back to a FULL recovery! Thankyou God!!! Thanks to all of our friends and family!

Today was a tough one for me. My Birthday was yesterday and my mom's card for me came in the mail, but since it was such a crazy day on my Birthday I didn't even get the mail out of the mailbox. When I was going out to run my errands I pulled the mail out and immediately spotted the pink envelop with her handwriting on it. I didn't think the emotions would start flowing the way they did. I miss my mom so much and I hate knowing that these days have been so horrible for her. I wasn't expecting a card from her at all but at the end she wrote I am sorry that I can't be there with you. I thought how unselfish no I am the one that is sorry that she has to be there yeah I miss her but compared to what she is going through right now I will survive. I will take this sacrifice to be able to have many more years with her. I want her bloodcells to drop where they need to be so they start multiplying. She is definitely a fighter and she will beat this!

Well we survived avery hot day at Oak Openings. We went yesterday it was my Birthday and it all went pretty good even with the heat index of 105. We packed a cooler and set off with my girlfriend Amy and her daughter Alexa. We came to realize that camping isn't for everyone. My Alexa is born to be outdoors like her mama, Alayna would just as soon sit in front of the tv in the air condition, and Alli is going to take after her older sister but her legs are still quite short to keep up with us, but she loves the creatures just like her older sister. When Alexa was her age she brought a slimy worm up to my mom and said"Isn't he a cutie pie Nana?" We enjoyed the shorter route on the trail so we wouldn't exhaust the kids and we had an enjoyable afternoon. Then we went to Amy's and waited for Mike to get off work and cooked out at there house. I had a very happy birthday with my girls and Mike.
